Cause of her death was old age and debility lasting six months. Other names for Mary were CAVANAGH, Mary 1 and KAVANAGH, Mary.3 General Notes: Mary Cavanagh, aged in the 40 to 44 years age range, was recorded in the 1841 census living in Aitchison Street, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, with her husband, Michael, and five of her children aged from 3 years to 20 years plus. She was born in Ireland, as were her husband and children, so she must have come over to Scotland about 1838-39. Research Notes: CANAL BANK STREET Medical Notes: No doctor certified the causes of death. Noted events in her life were: 1. migration from Ireland To Scotland, 1838-1841. Mary married Michael CAVANAGH. (Michael CAVANAGH was born about 1795 in Ireland 1 3 and died between 1851 and 1857.) |
