The baptism records of Ann Feely and her brother Robert have not as yet been found, thouh baptism records of some of their siblings have.
Ann Sherry was recorded in 1861 by the census for Old Monkland parish. She lived at Carmyle in the Western District of Old Monkland and cared for four children of 5 years and under. She was recorded as 25 years old and born in Ireland.
In March 1870 a 'Mrs Anne Fealie' was godmother to Margaret Thomas, daughter of Patrick Thomas and Catherine Feely, in St Mary's RC Chapel, Hamilton. It may have been this sister of Catherine's.
Ann Sherry was recorded by the 1871 census for Hamilton living at 11 Low Patrick Street with her own six children, and the two adults and three children in the family of her sister Mary Early. Ann was Irish born and recorded as aged 34 years.
In 1881 the census recorded Ann Sherrey living with her husband and two sons, Thomas and William, at 8 Low Patrick Street Hamilton. She was recorded as 36 years of age and her birthplace was Ireland.
Ann's death certificate of 1885 described her as married to William Sherry Coal miner. She was recorded as aged 40 years, but this was a low estimate considering her date of marriage. Both of her parents were deceased. 4 5 6 10 11

Her husband, William Sherry, who was present, notified the registrar at Hamilton, William Potter, on 26 November 1885, and made his X mark.
Ann married William SHERRY on 5 August 1855 in St Mary's RC Chapel, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 2 (William SHERRY was born in 1832 in Drumboe, County Down, Ireland 4 5 12 and died 24 June 1902 at 3.30 pm in Combination Poorhouse, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.). The cause of his death was hemiplegia.

The marriage was celebrated, after banns, according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Michael Condon, Catholic Clergyman at Hamilton, officiated. The witnesses were Samuel Sherry, who made his mark, and Mary Feely, who made her mark.
William Sherry, who made his X mark, was an iron stone labourer, aged 22 years. His address was given as 133 Castle Street, Hamilton. He was unmarried. He had been born and registered in 1833 at Drumboe in the County of Down in Ireland. Both of William's parents, Bernard Sherry, an agricultural labourer, and Mary Scott, were deceased.
Ann Feely, who made her X mark, was of Muir Street, Hamilton. She was unmarried and 22 years of age. She had been born and registered in 1833 at Lurgan in the County of Armagh, Ireland. Her mother was living and her father was deceased.
The marriage was registered on August 8 1855 at Hamilton, William Dickson being the signing registrar.
