Elizabeth married Sir Alexander FALCONER 5th of Halkerton, son of David FALCONER 4th of Halkerton and Mariot DUNBAR, before 24 April 1544(charter).¹ (Sir Alexander FALCONER 5th of Halkerton was born about 1514 and died on 10 November 1587 ¹.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Sir Alexander Falconer of Halkerton, only son, had a charter to himself and Elizabeth Douglas his wife, of the hill of Halkerton, 24 April 1544, as son and heir of his father, was seised in the mains of Halkerton 23 October 1549, and in lands of Letham 5 November 1549. He had a charter of the lands of Fernychtie and others in Nairnshire 18 November 1556, and died 10 November 1587. He married Elizabeth, only daughter of Sir Archibald Douglas of Glenbervie, and had issue" (page 245)
