Archibald married Agnes KEITH, daughter of William KEITH 2nd Earl Marischal and Elizabeth GORDON.1 2 (Agnes KEITH was born about 1503 and died by 1548 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Archibald Douglas of Glenbervie. His various lands were in 1538 and also in 1542 erected into a barony, called the barony of Glenbervie. He is said to have been delicate, but lived until 29 September 1570, as appears from his recorded testament. He married first, Agnes Keith, daughter of William, second Earl Marischal, who died before 1548."

"Sir Alexander Irvine died in 1527. He had, besides Alexander Irvine, his son and successor, two daughters: Mary, married to Sir Archibald Douglas of Glenbervie; and Elspet, married to George Ogilvy, eldest son of Sir Walter Ogilvy of Boyne."
