Janet married Lachlan MACINTOSH of Dunachtan, 14th of Mackintosh, son of Lachlan MACINTOSH 'Badenoch' and Catherine GRANT, before 18 January 1520.1 (Lachlan MACINTOSH of Dunachtan, 14th of Mackintosh was born about 1470 and died by 1526.). The cause of his death was murdered by stabbing. Marriage Notes: "She (Janet Gordon) was married, first, before 18 January 1520, to Lachlan Mackintosh of Dunachtan, chief of the clan, who with her then executed a supplementary discharge and renunciation ; and, secondly, before 16 February 1534-35, to James Ogilvy of Cardell, son and heir of Alexander Ogilvy of Findlater, and had issue by both marriages." Janet next married James OGILVY of Cardell, then of that Ilk and Findlater, son of Alexander OGILVY of that Ilk and Findlater and Janet ABERNETHY, by 16 February 1534(1535).1 (James OGILVY of Cardell, then of that Ilk and Findlater was born about 1510 and died after 19 February 1574(1575) 2.)
