MACINTOSH, Lachlan of Dunachtan, 14th of Mackintosh 2
Cause of his death was murdered by stabbing.2 User ID: V132. Lachlan married Janet GORDON, daughter of Sir Alexander GORDON of Lochinvar and Janet KENNEDY, before 18 January 1520.1 (Janet GORDON was born about 1496 and died before 30 October 1558 3.) Marriage Notes: "She (Janet Gordon) was married, first, before 18 January 1520, to Lachlan Mackintosh of Dunachtan, chief of the clan, who with her then executed a supplementary discharge and renunciation ; and, secondly, before 16 February 1534-35, to James Ogilvy of Cardell, son and heir of Alexander Ogilvy of Findlater, and had issue by both marriages." |
