Little Mary Kelly was just 1 year old when recorded, the youngest in her family, by the 1901 census for Blantyre.

When Mary Kelly died in 1940 she was recorded as 40 years old and single. Her brother Francis Kelly who had been present where the death occurred was the informant before the registrar at Blantyre on 29 January 1940. ¹
