Peter Kelly was recorded as a farmer in the birth registration documents of his children.

Peter was a farmer according to his son John's marriage lines in 1889. In John Kelly's death certificate of 1939, his father was recorded there, too, as a farmer, but was deceased by then. ^{1 2}

Peter married Ann McGUIRE. (Ann McGUIRE was born about 1840 and died before 7 June 1889.)
