General Notes:
In 1910 the US Census recorded Leonard Quigley living in the household of his 60 year old Canadian French widowed father in law, Joseph Souvigny, at Cathlamet, Wahkiakum County, Washington State. Leonard was recorded as 26 years of age and had been born in Oregon. He was a labourer at a logging camp. Leonard's brother in law Joseph Souvigny with his wife Julieanne, and Leonard's wife Della Mae Quigley and their daughter Bethina also lived in the household.
In his draft registration in World War I Leonard Quigley was recorded as 34 years old, in September 1918, who was a fisherman by occupation. He was described as tall and slender with brown eyes and black hair.
In 1920 the US Census recorded Leonard Quigley, with his wife Della and their 7 children, living at Cathlamet in Wahkiakum County, Washington State. Leonard was recorded as being aged 35 years and born in Oregon. His home was a rented one. He was working then as a fisherman.

Quigly was the head of a family consisting of his wife and nine children, the eldest child being Leonard. Leonard senior was 46 years old. He was a fisherman by occupation.
The 1940 US Census recorded Leonard Quigley and his family living at Ocean Beach Highway in Rosedale, Wahkiakum, Washington. He was 56 years old and was a raftsman in a logging company. The couple had five unmarried children living at home.
In his 1942 World War II registration, Leonard was described as 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds. He worked for "Crown Zellebach Corp." His eyes were brown, his hair black and grey, and he had a ruddy complexion. Another characteristic highlighted for identification purposes was "Small finger left hand end short".
