The 1880 US census recorded Lulu when aged 8 years living with her family at Oak Point, Columbia County, Oregon USA. She had been born in Oregon.
In 1900 Walter J. Stacy and Lula J. Stacy, along with Nannie Quigley, Lula's sister, were recorded by the US Census living in Rainier, Columbia, Oregon. Walter was recorded as born in May 1861 in England, Lula as July 1871 in Oregon, and Nannie as in March 1879 in Oregon. Walter was a plumber, and Nannie was a servant.
The 1910 US census recorded Walter J. Stacey, or possibly Stady, living in Rainier, Columbia, Oregon with his wife Lula J. Stacey. The couple had been married 11 years. His age was recorded as 49 years, his birthplace England, the same as his mother. His father's birthplace was recorded as Indiana. His year immigration was recorded as 1873. His occupation was plumber. Lula J. Stacey was recorded as born 1880, making her 30 years old.
In 1920 Lula [sic] was recorded by the 1920 census, along with her husband, John Stacey, and her parents, in Cathlamet. Her age was recorded as 45 years and she was born in Oregon. 1 2
