The 1910 US census recorded Walter J. Stacey, or possibly Stady, living in Rainier, Columbia, Oregon with his wife Lula J. Stacey. The couple had been married 11 years. His age was recorded as 49 years, his birthplace England, the same as his mother. His father's birthplace was recorded as Indiana. His year immigration was recorded as 1873. His occupation was plumber.

In 1900 Walter J. Stacy and Lula J. Stacy, along with Nannie Quigley, Lula's sister, were recorded by the US Census living in Rainier, Columbia, Oregon. Walter was recorded as born in May 1861 in England, Lula as July 1871 in Oregon, and Nannie as in March 1879 in Oregon. Walter was a plumber, and Nannie was a servant.

John Stacey was recorded by the 1920 US census living with his wife and her parents at Cathlamet. His age was recorded as 48 years and he had been born in England, as had his father. He migrated to the USA in 1890 and was naturalised in 1898.
