Stewart McGunigal was recorded by the 1910 US Census for Trumbull OHIO living with his mother and family at at 112 West Market Street, Warren, Ward 3B. He was a single man aged 27 years. He worked as lamp maker in an electric works. Both of his parents were born in Scotland and he was born in Ohio USA. He could read and write.

Stewart was a manager at the Olympic bowling alley in Akron, Ohio situated at 330 S. Main Street. The Akron Aeros baseball stadium now occupies this site. ^{1 2}
