Anne married George GORDON 7th Earl, 2nd Marquis of Huntly, Earl of Enzie and Viscount Aboyne, son of George GORDON 6th Earl, then 1st Marquis of Huntly and Henrietta STEWART, February 1607(contract).1 2 (George GORDON 7th Earl, 2nd Marquis of Huntly, Earl of Enzie and Viscount Aboyne was born about 1590 and died on 22 March 1649 in Mercat Cross, Edinburgh, Scotland 3.). The cause of his death was beheading.


  Marriage Notes:

"Anne (Campbell), born 1594, married in 1607 to George, second Marquess of Huntly, and had issue; and died at Aberdeen, 14 June 1638. Her husband was beheaded at the Market Cross of Edinburgh 22 March 1659 (see Note below)."

"The Marquess (George Gordon) married (contract February 1607) Anne, second daughter of Archibald, seventh Earl of Argyll, in a vain endeavour to heal a family feud. They had a charter of Badenoch 25 October 1608. She died at Old Aberdeen 14 June 1638, and was buried in St. Machar's Cathedral. By her the Marquess had issue"
