John had been born in Liberton and was recorded as 4 years of age. Medical Notes: John T. Baldwin MB ChB certified the cause of death. John married Marjory DEWAR, daughter of John DEWAR and Margaret RAMSAY, on 3 February 1888 in High Street, Portobello, Edinburgh, Scotland.1 (Marjory DEWAR was born in 1866 in Carnbee, Fife, Scotland 2 3 and died before 5 June 1949 4 5 6.) Marriage Notes: The marriage took place after banns according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. George T. Jamieson, Minister of Portobello, married the couple. The witnesses were Walter Linton and Madge Denholm. |
