Research Notes: MARJORY Marjory married John CURRAN OR CAIRNS, son of Hugh CURRAN OR CAIRNS (DNA Linked) and Rebecca ADAMS (DNA Linked), on 3 February 1888 in High Street, Portobello, Edinburgh, Scotland.1 (John CURRAN OR CAIRNS was born on 26 May 1867 in Liberton, Midlothian, Scotland 3 and died 5 June 1949 at 4.30 pm in 38 Bridge Street, Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland 2 4 5.). The cause of his death was coronary infarction over 10 days. Marriage Notes: The marriage took place after banns according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. George T. Jamieson, Minister of Portobello, married the couple. The witnesses were Walter Linton and Madge Denholm. |
