The 1911 census for Burnbank Hamilton recorded Ellen as 11 years old and born in Bothwell parish. She was at school.

Helen Bristow, niece of Patrick Feeley, who had been present where he died, gave notice of his death before the registrar, Robert Kyle, at Hamilton on 11 April 1951. ^{2 3}

Ellen married Patrick BRISTOW in 1940 in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ (Patrick BRISTOW was born about 1900.)
