In her death certificate of 1874 Christina-Amelia Carmichael was recorded as "married to Archibald Carmichael wright". Her recorded age was 69 years. Her parents were both dead. ^{5 16}

Archibald Carmichael, husband, who had been present where his wife died, gave notice of Christina's death on 7 August 1874 at Maryculter. ⁵

Christina married Archibald CARMICHAEL, son of Archibald CARMICHAEL and Elizabeth SINCLAIR, on 7 January 1833 in Kirkmichael parish, Banffshire, Scotland.^{1 2} (Archibald CARMICHAEL was born in Cargill, Perthshire, Scotland ^{3 4}, baptised on 19 November 1801 in Cargill, Perthshire, Scotland ¹⁷ and died 27 June 1885 at 10.30 pm in Roslea Villa, Bellshill, Lanarkshire, Scotland ^{4 18}.). The cause of his death was cardiac disease of unknown duration and congestion of the lungs over 2 days.⁵
