Elizabeth married William FORBES 4th of Corse, son of Patrick FORBES 3rd of Corse and Marjory (2) LUMSDEN.1 2 (William FORBES 4th of Corse was born about 1535 and died in 1596 1.)
Marriage Notes:
"On the 6th November 1562, Patrick Forbes of Corse obtained confirmation of a charter, by which he granted the lands of Kyncragy in liferent to Elizabeth, daughter of John Strachan of Thornton (Privy Seal Register, vol, xxxi., fol. 112)" (page 32)

Note:
The above source states later, on page 36, referring to the daughter of John Strachan's son, Alexander Strachan, that
"Elizabeth married William Forbes of Corse, Aberdeenshire."
Patrick Forbes 5th Laird of Corse, Elizabeth's son, was born in 1564, and another son, William Forbes of Menie was born about 1566, so their mother must have been born in 1550 or earlier. This scenario is incompatible with Elizabeth being the daughter of Alexander Strachan.
Alexander Strachan did have a daughter Elizabeth who married William Blackhall of that Ilk.
"IV. William (Forbes), the 4th Laird, succeeded 1568, married Elizabeth, daughter of John Strachan of Thornton, by whom he had seven sons and five daughters"

Elizabeth next married James SKENE of Westercorse and Ramore, son of James SKENE in Bandodle, then of Wester Corse and Janet LUMSDEN.3 (James SKENE of Westercorse and Ramore was born about 1524 and died in June 1600 3.)
Marriage Notes:
"Mr. James Skene of Westercorse and Ramore married a second time Elizabeth Strathauchin, as appears from a redemption by Alexander Cullen, provost of Aberdeen, of a tenement, over which 300 merks had been lent by Magister Jacobus Skene de Westercorse et Elizabeth Strathauchin ejus sponsa. He died in June, 1600, and his testament dative is confirmed in October, 1600, his son, Robert Skene, being appointed sole executor."
