Joseph McGlone, Elizabeth's father, who had been present, gave notice of her birth before the registrar, James Mitchell, at Coatbridge on 29 December 1879. ³

Elizabeth married Michael VALLELY, son of Thomas VALLELY and Agnes O'BRIEN, on 4 January 1905 in St Mary's RC Church, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ (Michael VALLELY was born in 1876 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland ^{1 4} and died 1 April 1915 at 8.02 pm in Caledonian Railway, Whifflet, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland.). The cause of his death was compound fracture of the skull.

The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest was Father Patrick Hackett. The witnesses were John McGlone and Agnes Keogh.
