Mary married Joseph McGLONE, son of John McGLONE and Elizabeth FURY, on 27 February 1879 in Whifflet, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ (Joseph McGLONE was born in 1855 ¹ and died after 4 January 1905.)

  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest was John Van Den Hoot. he witnesses were Peter McConachie and Catherine Garry.

Joseph McGlone was a bachelor aged 23 years. He lived at New Row Carnbroe. He was a grocer.

Mary Mann, who made her X mark, was 22 years old and unmarried. She too lived at New Row Carnbroe. She worked as a domestic servant.

The marriage was registered at Coatbridge on 3 March 1879, James Mitchell being the registrar. ¹
