Edward along with his twin brother, lived with their family at Oak Point, Columbia County, Oregon when they were recorded in 1880 by the US Census. He had been born in Oregon and was 3 years old.

An 'Edgar Quigley'- according to Family Search online IGI- son of John Quigley and Bethenia Bradbury, married on 8 January 1913 and died on 12 May 1959 at Cathlamet. He was buried on 14 May 1959 at Greenwood Cemetery, Cathlamet, Wahkiakum County, Washington State.

The 1920 US Census recorded Edward and Anna Quigley with three children and Anna's brother Frank and her sister Marie, living in Cathlamet. Edward's age was recorded as 42 years and his place of birth was Oregon. His father had been born in Scotland. Edward owned his house freely.

The 1930 US Census recorded Ed Quigley living with his wife and family in Cathlamet. His age at last birthday was 52 years. He had been born in Oregon State, as was his mother, and his father was born in Scotland. His occupation was a fisherman in Gill Net Fishing.

In 1940 the US Census recorded Ed Quigley as a "boom-man" in a logging company. 1
