Catherine Cavanagh was baptised on 1 May 1874 in St Patrick's Coatbridge by Father Michael O'Keeffe. Her baptismal sponsor was Catherine McConvill.

James Cavanagh, Catherine's father, who was present where the death occurred, gave notice of her death before Andrew Baird, registrar, at Coatdyke on 25 November 1874, and made his X mark. ³
