Mary's husband, Hugh, informed the registrar at Kilmarnock, David McKay, on March 18 1859 and made his X mark.

Thomas Hendry, sexton, certified the burial of the body.

Mary married Hugh LAWRIE, son of LOWRIE and McDONALD, on 18 January 1839 in Kilmarnock Parish, Ayrshire, Scotland. (Hugh LAWRIE was born about 1810-1815 in Ireland ^{5 9} and died on 20 May 1879 in Ford Street, Catrine parish, Ayrshire, Scotland ⁹.). The cause of his death was pneumonia over 10 days.
