   Cause of his death was cardiac failure, hypertension and arteriosclerosis.

  General Notes:

According to the 1893 birth certificate of his daughter Ellen, William McCormick was a railway contractor's labourer by occupation. He was the informant of his daughter's birth before the registrar at Glasgow on 21 June 1893.

William died at the recorded age of 75 years. He was a factory watchman and widower of Mary Ann McKenna. His parents were deceased. ¹

Ellen Thomson, of 308 Dunn Street, who was the daughter of the deceased man, gave notice of her father's death at Glasgow on 22 April 1949.

William married Mary McKENNA, daughter of Patrick McKENNA and Sarah CURRAN, on 27 August 1892 in Glasgow, Scotland.¹ (Mary McKENNA was born on 15 November 1873 in Hutchesontown, Glasgow, Scotland.)
