In 1751 he obtained a further prorogation of the wadset of his lands, and in 1774 was appointed a Commissioner of Supply for Elgin and Forres. He died before 15th July 1786. He married Anne, daughter of Colonel John Grant of Carron, who predeceased him, dying on 15th April 1777." |
