Archibald married Christian MURE by 12 August 1472.1 (Christian MURE was born about 1457 and died after 28 January 1523(1524) 1.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Archibald of Nariston, and afterwards in Bonshaw, occurs 7 August 1472 as of Nariston, when he is a witness to a discharge by Outhbert, Lord Kilmaurs, to Archibald, fifth Earl of Angus. In his returns for the year ending 25 June 1491 Alexander Boyd, Chamberlain of Kilmarnock, omitted Nariston, alleging that Archibald Boyd had hereditary rights there, and the said Archibald was summoned to appear 4 July next to prove his claim. On 12 August 1472 Archibald Boyd and Christian Mure, his spouse, appear without any designation, and on 9 September 1502 they had a lease of Bonschaw and Dririg. He was dead before 4 May 1507, when Christian Mure, his relict, and her sons, paid a year's rent on taking over the lease. She was living 28 January 1523. They appear to have had two sons and three daughters"
