Elizabeth married George BANNERMAN of Elsick, Sheriff-Depute of Aberdeen, son of Alexander BANNERMAN of Waterton and Margaret REID, in 1586.1 (George BANNERMAN of Elsick, Sheriff-Depute of Aberdeen was born about 1558 and died in 1609 3.)

"Alexander (see Note below) Bannerman of Elsick married Elizabeth Johnston, daughter of John Johnston of that Ilk and of Caskieban, in 1586.

He lived at Elsick, ScotlandG.2 In 1609 he suceeded to the estates of Waterton (near Aberdeen) and Elsick (in the Barony of Cowrie in the Mearns.) In 1611 he sold the estate of Waterton to John Johnston of that Ilk and of Caskieban.
