July 9 1698 Patrick Strachan of Auchnagate Merchant in Aberdeen & Isobell Forbes his Lady had a son baptised by Mr William Blair Minister Minister [sic] Alexander Ker of Mennie Merchant, Alexander Forbes younger of Foveran Alexander Chalmer son to Mr Patrick Chalmer Doctor in Medicine and Alexander Strachan brother to Aughnagate [sic] Godfathers" 1

  Research Notes:

The Strachans of Glenkindie states that Patrick Strachan and Isobel Forbes had no family. The IGI lists these children with dates, parishes and the names of both parents. It may be the children did not survive for long.
