"Sir Patrick was twice married. His first wife was Isobell Forbes, of what family is not stated, probably of Edinglassie. He had no family by that marriage, and Isobell Forbes died subsequent to 4th February, 1715, for on that date he executed a very elaborate deed of entail..."
