Agnes married Henry LAUDER Lord St Germains, Burgess of Edinburgh, Lord Advocate, son of Gilbert LAUDER of Balbardie, Bailie and Burgess of Edinburgh and Elizabeth HOPPER probably 'of Bourhouse'. (Henry LAUDER Lord St Germains, Burgess of Edinburgh, Lord Advocate was born about 1500 and died on 19 July 1561.)
Marriage Notes:
"Agnes (Stewart) was a daughter of Sir David Stewart of Rosyth, Knt., by his spouse Margaret, daughter of Sir Robert Douglas of Lochleven, Knt."

Unusually, no source is noted for this placing of Agnes within the family of the Stewarts of Rosyth. John A. Rupert-Jones, editor of Rosyth, states that
"(Sir) David Stewart of Rosyth succeeded his father in 1514. He married Christian, daughter of Lord Erskine, Earl of Mar."
Agnes is not mentioned in that volume.
Margaret Douglas, daughter of Sir Robert Douglas of Lochleven, married David's son Henry before 12 August 1516. 2
