Ann married John HORN of Westhall, son of Reverend Mr James HORNE of Westhall, Minister of Elgin parish and Isobel LESLIE, 20 and 25 November 1693(contract).1 2 3 (John HORN of Westhall was born about 1669 and died in June 1743 5.)

"Mr. John Horn married the Hon. Anne Arbuthnot, daughter of Robert, second Viscount Arbuthnot. He had a charter from James II. of the above-mentioned lands (Westhall, Ryehill, Pitmedden, Ardoyne, Old Rayne, Pitmachie, and others), with the barony of Horn, and had a daughter, an only child."

"Mr John Horn married, contract dated 20th and 25th November, 1693, the Honourable Agnes Arbuthnott, daughter of Robert, second Viscount Arbuthnott. She is called 'Agnes' in the contract, but elsewhere ber name is invariably given in the alternative form of Anna, or Anne. By her, who died in April, 1742 he had an only child, Anne."
