He m. to Muriel Sutherland, (she was widow of Thomas Oliphant, of Dron, who had d. in 1484, and d. at Ballechin and was buried at Dunkeld on 4 September, 1510), d. on 11 September, 1523, and was father of .... 1 William Stewart, 2nd of Stix .... 2 John Stewart, 3rd of Stix .... 2 James Stewart, d. at Edinburgh in 1508, 4 Patrick Stewart, 4th of Sticks "
