  General Notes:

"1474. - Thomas Oliphant of Dron, L.2. Thomas Oliphant of Dron is said to have been the second son of Sir John Oliphant of Aberdalgie, and younger brother of Laurence first Lord Oliphant. He died on the 11th of December 1474, and left as an obit the sum of L.2, of which twenty-six shillings eight pennies were to be paid out of the lands of Wester Dron and Kintilloch, and thirteen shillings four pennies out of a tenement on the east side of the Kirkgate of Perth. Each officiating chorister was to receive twelve pennies, and each foundation chaplain who joined in the service eight pennnies."

Thomas married Elizabeth BUCHANAN, daughter of Sir Walter BUCHANAN 12th (13th) of that Ilk and Unknown.¹ (Elizabeth BUCHANAN was born about 1405 and died by 1471 ¹.)
