"John Douglas of Tilquhillie, baptised September 1708 ; died 18th January 1791. He married Mary, daughter of the Hon. John Arbuthnott and sister of the sixth Viscount Arbuthnott. By her, who died 25th May 1783, he had two sons : - (a) John (No. 380). (b) James Douglas, who died young."
