Hugh married Anna HAMILTON, daughter of James HAMILTON 2nd Lord Hamilton, Earl of Arran and Unknown, on 20 December 1510.1 2 (Anna HAMILTON was born about 1490 and died in 1516 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Anna, described as a natural daughter, and as 'full sister to Sir James Hamilton of Finhart,' above named. She was married, 'at the Castle of Hamilton,' 20 December 1510, to Hugh, fifth Lord Sornerville, as his first wife, and died of the smallpox in 1516, without male issue."
