That Elizabeth was the wife of Sir William Douglas third of Drumlanrig is inconsistent with the dating of others in her timeline, and it is more consistent that her husband was William, fourth of Drumlanrig. ^{1 2}

Elizabeth next married James CAMPBELL of West Loudon.^{1 2} (James CAMPBELL of West Loudon was born about 1450.)
