  Marriage Notes:

"Sir William Colville was three times married, first, to Elizabeth, daughter of John, second Lord Kennedy .... secondly, Margaret Ker .... and thirdly, to Elizabeth Crichton, widow of Campbell. Sir William's third wife survived him and was still alive in October 1539." (page 543)

from Scots Peerage (vol 2)

"p. 543 (of Scots Peerage, volume 2), 1. 2, delete 'Crichton, widow of Campbell,' and insert * daughter of Sir Robert Crichton of Sanquhar, and widow of William Douglas, third of Drumlanrig, and of James Campbell of West Loudoun ' (cf. vol. vii. 116)"

from Scots Peerage (vol 9 Addenda et Corrigenda)

Note:
That Elizabeth was the wife of Sir William Douglas third of Drumlanrig is inconsistent with the dating of others in her timeline, and it is more consistent that her husband was William, fourth of Drumlanrig.
