In 1891 Andrew Nisbet was recorded by the census for Edinburgh living at 5 Brown Street, his family home which his sister, Eleanor, and her husband Henry McKeen, now ran, as pseudo parents, after the death of Alexander and Isabella Nisbet. Andrew Nisbet died in 1945. His recorded age at death was 71 years. According to his death certificate, he was a retired plumber and the widower of Jane Gordon Brown. He did not die at home, for his usual residence was recorded as 89 St Leonard's Street Edinburgh. His parents were both deceased at the time of his death. 2 3 4
