John married Isabella WILSON on 10 October 1778.¹ (Isabella WILSON was born about 1745 and died in 1784 in Kingussie and Insh parish, Invernessshire, Scotland ⁴.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Captain John MacPherson married, on 10th October 1778, Isabella, daughter of
Thomas Wilson, of Witton-Gilbert, in county of Durham, and by her (who died 3d March 1784) had issue. He died on 9 th May 1799."
