George married Grace GRANT, daughter of Colonel William GRANT of Rothiemurchus, then 1st (of second Grants) of Ballindalloch and Anne GRANT, on 18 December 1732 in Kingussie and Insh parish, Invernessshire, Scotland.¹ (Grace GRANT was born about 1710 and died on 29 December 1749 ^{2 3}.)
