Anne married Colonel William GRANT of Rothiemurchus, then 1st (of second Grants) of Ballindalloch, son of James GRANT 5th of Rothiemurchus and Grizel Mor MACINTOSH, on 1 November 1711 in Cromdale and Inverallan parish, Moray, Scotland.¹ (Colonel William GRANT of Rothiemurchus, then 1st (of second Grants) of Ballindalloch was born about 1666 and died in May 1733 ⁴.)

There is a marriage entry in Cromdale parish a few words only of which is visible. The date is "November 1 1711". The husband's name "William Grant" is visible with a title preceding the second part of which may be "lonel" though this is not clear or certain. The wife's name is obscured but "...of Grant" is visible. ^{1 5}
