Anne married Colonel William GRANT of Rothiemurchus, then 1st (of second Grants) of Ballindalloch, son of James GRANT 5th of Rothiemurchus and Grizel Mor MACINTOSH, on 1 November 1711 in Cromdale and Inverallan parish, Moray, Scotland.1 (Colonel William GRANT of Rothiemurchus, then 1st (of second Grants) of Ballindalloch was born about 1666 and died in May 1733 4.)

There is a marriage entry in Cromdale parish a few words only of which is visible. The date is "November 1 1711". The husband's name "William Grant" is visible with a title preceding the second part of which may be "lonel" though this is not clear or certain. The wife's name is obscured but "...of Grant" is visible. 1 5
