Janet married Alexander OGILVY of that Ilk and Findlater, son of James OGILVY and Agnes (2) GORDON, 21 June 1509(charter).¹ (Alexander OGILVY of that Ilk and Findlater was born about 1480 and died in July 1554 ¹.)

"He (Alexander Ogilvy) married, first, Jonet Abernethy, second daughter of James, third Lord Saltoun. On 21 June 1509 the spouses had a charter from Sir James Ogilvy of Deskford, grandfather of Alexander, of the Mains of Auchindoun and others in Banffshire."
