Another name for Charles was O'NIEL, Charles.1 General Notes: The 1861 census for Bothwell parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland, recorded John O'Niel [sic] as the head of a household living in Mossend village. With John lived his wife, Sarah, their four young children, John's mother, Mary and a 22 year old Irish born lodger. The youngest child listed, Charles O'Niel, was recorded as 10 months old and had been born in Bothwell parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland. 1 |
