   Cause of her death was diarrhoea over 4 or 5 days.

   Other names for Sarah were O'NEIL, Sarah and O'NIEL, Sarah.1

  General Notes:

Sarah's father John O'Neil, who had not been present where the birth took place, was the informant of her birth before James Hunter, registrar, at Bothwell on 23 July 1856

Sarah was aged 20 months when she died in 1857.

  Medical Notes:

Robert Wilson, surgeon, who saw Sarah on 4 March 1857, certified the cause of death.

Her mother Sarah O'Neil, who had been present where the child's death occurred, gave notice of her death before the registrar, Andrew Baird, at Coatdyke on 6 March 1857 and made her X mark.

William Russell, sexton, certified her burial in Old Monkland Churchyard.
