General Notes: "1695, January 27.-William Gordon (VI of Birkenburn) was present with other heritors at a meeting, apparently of the kirk session, at Keith, on some church business; and he with William Duff, son to Alexander Duff of Braco, was a witness at the baptism of William Gordon, lawful son to Charles Gordon of Glengerack, July 2, 1699." William married Helen TAYLOR in 1706.1 (Helen TAYLOR was born about 1680.) |
