Alexander married Helen GRANT, daughter of Alexander GRANT of Allachie and Margaret GRANT, in 1650.¹ (Helen GRANT was born about 1633,³ died in 1694 ³ and was buried in 1694 in Mortlach parish, Banffshire, Scotland ³.)

Keithmore left three sons : Alexander Duff of Braco, born 1652; William Duff of Dipple, born 1653 ; and Patrick Duff of Craigston; and four daughters : 1. Margaret, married to James Stewart of Lesmurdy, and had one son."
