Alexander married Helen GRANT, daughter of Alexander GRANT of Allachie and Margaret GRANT, in 1650.¹ (Helen GRANT was born about 1633,³ died in 1694 ³ and was buried in 1694 in Mortlach parish, Banffshire, Scotland ³.)
