Francis, son of the deceased John O'Rourke, and who was present where his father died, gave notice of his father's death before the registrar at Holytown on 31 January 1955, signing himself "F. O'Rourke".

A man named Francis O'Rourke, mother's surname McCabe died in Airdrie aged 93 years in 2014. ^{1 3}
