PARENTAGE

No baptism has been found for Elizabeth in this family, and her placing here is therefore circumstantial. She may have been a cousin of Patrick Thomsone rather than his sister, although the naming pattern looks as if she was a member of this group.

Elizabeth married Reverend Mr Robert BURNET Minister of Newhills, son of Thomas BURNET Merchant in Aberdeen and Janet SCHAND, on 28 October 1708 in Newhills parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 (Reverend Mr Robert BURNET Minister of Newhills was born about 1666 and died in 1715 2.)
