  Marriage Notes:

"Helen, 'daughter of James Gordon of Midmar and Abergeldie,' apparently the 3rd laird, married Thomas Fraser of Durris (Macfarlane's Genealogical Collections, ii., 323) and became the grandmother of Sir Alexander Fraser, the famous physician who trepanned Prince Rupert, and whose daughter, Carey Fraser, married (about 1678) the third Earl of Peterborough. Sir Alexander's son Charles translated Plutarch (Dict. Nat. Biog.)."

from Abergeldie

Note:

Information from primary sources name the wife of Thomas Fraser as Margaret, not Helen.
Genealogical Collections appear to be in error on this. 1 2
