VALLELY, Ann

   Cause of her death was jaundice and vomiting over 9 days and valvular disease of the heart over 18 months.²

   Other names for Ann were VALELLY, Annie ¹ and VALLELY, Annie.³

  General Notes:

In June 1879 Thomas Vallely, a coal miner, gave notice of the birth of his daughter, Ann Vallely before the registrar, Peter Paterson, at Salsburgh on 21 June 1879.

In the 1881 census Ann was aged 2 years.

In 1891, Annie was a scholar aged 11 years, living with family in the Cleland area.

In 1901 the census recorded Annie Valelly, a single woman, living with a group of her brothers and sisters at Windyedge near Cleland in Shotts Parish. Annie was recorded as 20 years of age and worked as a dressmaker. She had been born in Shotts.

Annie Vallely was recorded in her death certificate of 1933 as a single woman of 53 years of age. Both of her parents were deceased. ^{1 2 4}

The brother of the Annie Vallely, James Vallely, who had been present, of Roselea, Bellside Road, Cleland, gave notice of her death before the registrar, Alexander Craig, at Cleland on April 20th 1933. ²
